My Review :
It’s very rare to find good pigmentation and texture lipstick without a heavy price tag. Faces Go Chic Lipsticks are among-st the few.
The packaging of the lipstick is black tube with a silver metal band hugging in the center. First look ? It looks kinda tacky but then it is sturdy enough for someone as clumsy as me. Don’t bother the rotating cap, it will be secure in the bag.
Faces Go Chic Lipsticks are super creamy and smooth in texture. They are easy on apply and glides on like a dream. I am amazed by the pigmentation of the lipstick. A single swipe gives a uniform coverage and the color intensity could be built up if needed. The finish is soft matte with a slight sheen. The lipsticks are also moisturizing and keeps my pout hydrated. If you’ve extremely dry lips, apply lip balm underneath.
Faces Go Chic lipsticks have a good grip and lasts for around 3 hours on me. However, a touch up is needed post meals as they are pretty transferable. They fade evenly leaving a soft tint on the lips. I suggest using a lip liner to increase the longevity.
Poppy Red, as the name suggest, is a deep warm red with a pop of orange undertones. According to me, this color would flatter almost all the skin tones without looking OTT. If you are too shy for a red lipstick, this one will be a great option to start up with.
Port wine, is a deep brownish – maroon shade with a hint of purple undertones. This is my mum’s favorite shade and also a great evening wear. Sadly, this color tends to settle in fine lines after a bit. You can see it in the pics above.
Overall, Faces Go Chic Lipsticks are amazing for the price tag. I see myself reaching out for Poppy Red most of the time.
